Our application called '할인을 찾아서' got the second toppest prize in Android Application contest run by SK telecom.
'할인을 찾아서' helps people to find services or stores where could be discounted by telecom membership cards.
From the right, there were our team member,
3 of us,
종국, 미영, 희덕.
in the center, 희덕, the guy who is doing V finger, is main programmer,
also, 종국 is also programmer,
and I helped interface design and graphic.

Mozilla Labs Design Challenge: Weave Web UI "Tabs and History visualizations"

Contents (objectives) :

1. Closed Tabs History = for short term history reminder
2. Frequently Visited tabs = like speed dial and favorite sites tabs
3. Search History by Time and Frequency = long term bookmark search

Problems :
1. hard to search by just title of pages in list of history.
2. features are hidden in the menu so begginers have difficulty finding them.
3. hard to search in long term history.

Solutions :
The table is from : Contextual Web History: Using Visual and Contextual Cues to Improve Web Browser History.

I got idea when reading the paper. I'd like to apply these cues to find history easily.

1. Closed Tabs History
Why : 'Closed Tabs History' is needed to search sites as short term history.
Where : I've been thinking about where I should put the closed tabs. According to Fitts's law, if 'tabs history' were located on each side of the browser, users could find it easily.

2. Frequently Visited Tabs
Why : 'Frequently Visited Tabs' is needed to access favorite sites easily.
Where : According to Fitts's law, if frequently visited tabs were located on either side of the browser, users could find them easily. I am putting them on the right.

Points : These are kinds of 'favorite sites bookmarks' and 'speed dial'. Users could organize them freely with just drag and drop. Also, users could bookmark pages which are from that same site in a Group, so it would prevent bookmarking too many pages in the tab.

3. Search History by Time and Frequency
Why : According to potential memory cues, users could remember that time when they visited the websites easily, so I made an analogue clock to search the time easily. In addition,
it's easier to recognize the time and time gap using analogue clocks rather than digital clocks.

Points :
The Clock could rotate for user's better view. Also Users could know how many sites and pages they've visited per hour. Color that shows morning, afternoon and evening could help to recognize time.
Each picture in each time means the main websites which the user visited most frequently. When the user clicks a time piece, other pages will pop up to show the detail of history.
In the new page(second photo), the user could search the websites by most frequently visited sites. So the bigger one is what the user visited a lot. I got an idea from treemap. After users click the website, they could check other pages under the main pages.
